The squat tables outside Serendepico boast perfect views of Castello Sforzesco across the way. They fill up fast on balmy summer evenings with designer-clad locals straight from the banks of Corso Magenta and eager to feast on the nightly aperitivo banquet in the tastefully low-lit sleek bar.

The restaurant downstairs is karma-like gleaming white and serves up a modern take of Milanese favourites risotto, pasta, and carpaccio. Later on Wednesday evenings there are karaoke sessions; live acoustic bands perform on Friday evenings, and the weekends see big-name Italian DJs spinning sets until late at night.
