A far cry from plush restaurants like Jimmy’s Italian Kitchen, Norling Restaurant is a hole in the wall. One meal here and you would know that there is much hidden by its deceptive appearance. A locals’ favourite, Norling serves essentially Tibetan food, its menu offering a variety of momos, thukpas, meat pies, steamed chicken, mutton bhaklab and rice-based vegetarian dishes. Butter tea is a must for anyone willing for some experiment with their food. It is often visited by Buddhist monks, conversations with whom would leave you with some food for thought as well.
