Moroccans love their mint tea and Marrakech has numerous cafes and rooftop bars dedicated to this iconic drink. Serving and consuming alcohol is frowned upon in Marrakech. This creates a stunning, albeit unusual, effect. The tea itself is a sweet concoction prepared with spearmint leaves, green tea, and lots of sugar.
