An age-old Spanish classic – completed in 1764, after a period of 26 years, the Royal Palace of Madrid is one of the largest royal residences in Europe. The Neo Classical square layout of the palace contains more than 3000 lavishly decorated rooms. The Spanish Royals lived here until 1931, before moving into the Zarzuela Palace, outside Madrid.
