Ten blocks of shops by Santa Monica Beach

Noteworthy for: Planet Blue's bohemian-inspired, comfortable clothes are a hit with the LA set.

It's not as extravagant as nearby Santa Monica Place, but this tree-lined street reveals some of the area's most-loved boutiques and cafes. Stretched over 10 blocks between 7th and 17th streets, there's a whopping 150 shops to browse, including Whole Foods, Lucky and Williams Sonoma.

If you haven't done any gift-shopping, Montana Avenue is a great place to grab a latte before hunting for LA-style treasures, stopping to pamper yourself at one of the many spas, nail bars and salons along the strip.
