There is nothing we could tell you about Harrogate that would do justice to this picturesque Spa Town. Harrogate is just 10 miles away from the Leeds Bradford International Airport and well connected by bus and train to Leeds City Center. The town itself seems like it’s walked out of the pages of a fairy tale. Large open spaces, bedecked with flowers, complement gorgeous country houses. You can start acquainting yourself with the town by going for a long walk to enjoy Yorkshire’s countryside.

Hot tea and hot water are the two primary draws here. Harrogate is home to a number of spa retreats and Turkish Baths. Watch your worries melt away as you indulge yourself at either of the two. The town is also home to the most famous tearoom in all of England – Bettys. Here traditional English Tea is served with decadent cakes and scones. Expect to queue at Bettys – it is busy on most days of the year but it is one last thing that will convince you to put Harrogate on your itinerary. It has been voted one of Europe’s most romantic towns, triumphing over the likes of Paris and Vienna.
