In spite of being a predominantly Muslim country, Kuala Lumpur does not impose any social sanctions on drinking and visitors will be pleasantly surprised by the openness and alacrity with which lanes in Bukit Bintang are virtually taken over by street pubs in the evenings. If you prefer a classier affair then head for the upmarket Luna Bar, or if you prefer a bit of music on the side, then to Mood Swings to be regaled by the some of the best jazz acts in town. For sheer views there’s no place like the Sky Bar.
