Petronas Twin Towers have become modern Malaysia’s national identity, denoting the country’s global aspirations. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, you cannot miss the world’s tallest twin towers from near or afar, from the ground or from the many terrace bars and restaurants that the city sports. Petroliam Nasional Bhd, the Fortune 500 Company that lends its name to this structure, is Malaysia’s national petroleum corporation with business interests in more than 30 countries.

Indulge yourself from the ground level up. You may start with Suria KLCC, one of the best malls of the city. On levels 4 and 5 of both towers 1 and 2, the building hosts an interactive Science Discovery Centre that will help you to understand the energy industry. Explore the centre before settling for a bite at its Molecule Cafe. Then take the elevators to scale 170 m to be at the Skybridge, a connecting path between the towers. Finally get to level 86 to get a bird’s eye view of Kuala Lumpur. If classical music interests you, consider experiencing the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in the concert hall located in between the two towers.

Tips: You may plan an entire day to tour the Skybridge, the Science Discovery Centre, Suria KLCC mall, the orchestra and the musical fountains. Admission rates to Science Discovery Centre, Orchestra and to the Skybridge are managed separately. Skybridge tours and Science Discovery Centre are closed on Mondays.
