Busy bargain bistro with a convivial ambience
Word to the wise: As is the custom with Nice's top old town eateries, it's best to book at least two days ahead in order to snag a table.
Despite changing ownership a few years back, Chez Palmyre hasn't lost any of its old charm, staying true to the traditional cuisine it became known for and importantly, the reasonable prices that kept customers coming back. The daily specials ensure that two visits are never the same but if you get lucky, the delectable deep-fried courgette flowers will be on the menu.
