Kitsch and curios in beautiful surroundings
Noteworthy for: Packed to the rafters with trinkets and baubles, this may be Chicago’s ultimate gift shop.

Set in the dark-paneled confines of a former pharmacy from the 1930s, this shop is packed with a baffling array of gifts, unusual trinkets and kitsch items. Roaming the dimly lit store feels like partaking in a midnight treasure hunt for who-knows-what.
There’s jewelry, toys, strange drinking glasses and measuring spoons shaped like Russian dolls, scented candles, and pharmacy-style goods like Burt’s Bees and bath products for men and women. Whether or not you have any idea what you’re looking for, drop by and hunt through the densely packed shelves. You may well walk out with more than you bargained for.
