India has issued an advisory against travelling to Hong Kong after flight operations were disrupted at the Hong Kong International Airport due to public demonstrations. India has issued an advisory against travelling to Hong Kong after flight operations were disrupted at the Hong Kong International Airport due to public demonstrations. In the travel advisory issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the ministry has advised its citizens not to travel to Hong Kong.
It also advised Indian passengers to be in touch with their respective airlines to find alternative travel routes so there is no inconvenience caused, until the situation gets back to normal in the country and airlines.

On Monday, the airport authority of Hong Kong within a very short notice, suspended all the flight operations as thousands of protestors barged inside the airport terminal’s arrival halls. Hong Kong is experiencing massive pro-democracy protests.
Though the airport was reopened on Tuesday, thousands of flights to Hong Kong are now cancelled because of the protests wherein a number of passengers were stranded at the airport.
