Iceland is here to help you ditch doomscrolling

Here is a New Year’s resolution we can all take some interest in, and thanks to Iceland for making it happen. We all go on endless loops of scrolling through our phones, and Iceland calls this doomscrolling, which sounds like a scary thing really. But you can now transform this doomscrolling into joyscrolling with the help of a new website.
The website is in fact called Joyscroll, and upon opening it says, “Everyday we doomscroll through 22.7 meters of bad news. So here’s 22.7 metres of joy.”

It is a great break from your regular routine of scrolling through social media and getting news of corruption, and greed from around the world. This is especially important now since 2020 has been a year full of bad news. But hey, Iceland has your back this year-end, so you can enter 2021 with a renewed spirit.

Full of beautiful scenes from nature (as expected from Iceland), the 75 foot long feed is incredibly refreshing. Not just visuals, but you also have some audio thrown into the mix. So expect beautiful musical performances by musicians from Iceland. Of course the Icelandic highlights are all present here, from waterfalls, to northern lights. Culinary delights of Iceland are also featured here, alongside some outstandingly beautiful wildlife.

The website has a guided breathing section as well, and this has been developed to help you breathe easily, and calm you down. It is almost like a real therapy, and we must say that we are loving it.
