Lakshadweep has only one airport, the Agatti Airport on Agatti Island. This airport is linked with the airport in Cochin. Those planning a trip to Lakshadweep first need to get their air tickets booked for Cochin International Airport, which is well connected with rest of the world. From Agatti, one can take the helicopter facility till Kavaratti, which is available throughout the year. It takes around one hour and thirty minutes to reach Agatti from Cochin. These flights are operational six days a week.
