The architecture firm will (most probably) bring your love for camping and mountains together. No, not camping out in the wilderness. Think staying in a tent suspended between two mountains. Now that sounds like something, doesn’t it?

They are calling it The Floating Retreat. Catchy! Don’t start making plans, not just yet. That’s because it’s not a reality yet. But one can definitely visualise it.



Imagine this – there’s the mountain of Sharjah in the UAE, and floating right in the middle of two mountains is your comfortable and luxurious tent. Can you get a mental picture of mindblowing sunrises and sunsets? So what if climbing a mountain is not your cup of tea? Do you know what will be? A stay this luxurious and this unique.


Now speaking of luxury, these tents will easily accommodate two people, give you ample privacy and will also let you adjust the height of your tent as per your comfort. Amenities like room service, Wi-Fi access and a private bathroom will come with the tent. You will also be able to access a five-star spa facility on top of the mountain.


Is the safety concern bugging you? The firm reassures that utmost care and safety measures will be taken. Once this becomes a reality, well-trained hotel staff and engineers will always be available, in case of emergency. The tents will also be fitted with lightweight, fireproof, breathable and waterproof materials.
