The former palace of the Wodeyars—the erstwhile royal family of Mysore—this luxury hotel is spread across 50 acres of lawns, gardens and forests. Built in 1844, its 19 private suites have glass verandahs overlooking private gardens, while the wood paneling, high ceilings, working fireplaces and antique furniture complete the period setting.
