Centrally located just five minutes from the historic walled city, Diggi Palace is an oasis of calm and tranquility surrounded by acres of beautifully-landscaped gardens. The haveli was built in the 1860s, and has now been restored to its current glory. Recently, it has acquired considerable fame as the primary venue of the internationally-renowned Jaipur Literature Festival, which is held here every January. It has 70 rooms ranging from lawn-facing cottages to luxurious rooms set around the courtyard and gardens.
