A family-run guest house that has been wooing backpackers from past 20 years - that is the Ashoka Guest House. It is a comfortable accommodation with clean, airy rooms and modest hosts, who are more than willing to put your itinerary in place. A no-frills place, the guest house is great for backpackers’ stay with free Wi-Fi access and pick and drop facility to and from the airport. A tiny garden and parking space, which is hard to find in Leh, are some alluring add-ons for this one. While there is no food facility at the place, it is surrounded by a lot of good eateries and coffee places.
