Word to the wise: The vintage Cuban film posters in the gallery shop here make far better souvenirs than much of the Che-emblazoned tat elsewhere.

Named after the famous Cuban film, this bar is plastered with movie paraphernalia, from the red director chairs on the charming patio to the film posters adorning the walls. Even the row of palm trees evokes Hollywood.

With the UNESCO World Heritage Charles Chaplin cinema opposite, the crossroads of Calle 23 y 12 are famous as cinephile central, and the bar attracts a young, cool and beautiful crowd. You’re just as likely to stumble upon an art exposition held in the adjoining gallery space as you are one of the many gigs or parties. Monday nights are especially popular.
