Noteworthy for: Though nearby Newbury Street has plenty of stores to entice shoppers, the inclement Boston weather directs many to the enclosed malls of Prudential and Copley, just a block away.

Despite seeming like typical shopping malls, the linked Prudential Center and Copley Place offer unparalleled variety and convenience, as well as the surprising addition of upscale stores like Barneys New York, Tiffany & Co., Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Dior--all under one roof. Copley is more high-end though more mid-range stores are also included in the mix. Prudential resembles the typical suburban mall with popular stores like Ann Taylor and Sephora.
Besides the food-court, numerous restaurants in the malls are worth visiting, including Haru, for modern Japanese cuisine, and Top of the Hub, for dining at the top floor with views of the city skyline.
