Talk of the town: In recent years, Sub Club was voted 10th best club in the world by revered online electronic music magazine, Resident Advisor.

Noteworthy for: In 2006, a HIT Bodysonic Dancefloor system was installed in the club, putting its technology on par with that of legendary London club, Fabric.

With just enough room for a lucky 400 people, this subterranean space has been responsible for more sick days, lost days and blow-your-pay days over the last quarter century than any other club in the city, due in no small part to groundbreaking and internationally acclaimed nights such as Subculture and Numbers.

Not limiting its repertoire to big name DJs, acts such as ESG, LCD Soundsystem and Liquid Liquid have all graced Sub Club's tiny stage over the years and with a constantly impressive line-up of forthcoming events, it shows no sign of retiring anytime soon.
