Word to the wise: While it's a miracle to find a great designer buy in your size during sales season in London, Cruise Glasgow is a goldmine for bargain hunters at the end of summer and winter.

What started out three decades ago in Edinburgh as a cutting edge menswear store is now a bona fide fashion conglomerate. The high-end multi-label store for men and women now has its headquarters in Glasgow, as the brand focus on world domination (across the UK and Ireland, at least).

Conveniently, Cruise Glasgow's two stores are located within a hundred metres of each other. You'll find all (and we mean all) the big labels at the cavernous mainline store, while the Cruise Jeans outlet stocks younger - though not necessarily cheaper - labels from Melissa Shoes to Juicy Couture and 7 for All Mankind.
