Just a stone’s throw away from Lac Leman, Eastwest bridges the gap between form and function; taste and technology; simplicity and opulence; and east and west—hence the somewhat unimaginative albeit fitting name. Get past the lacklustre moniker, and you’ll be extremely appreciative of everything the property offers. Housed within what appears to be a private house, each of the 41 guest rooms have been tastefully decorated and offer all the amenities you’d expect from a quality hotel. The in-house restaurant serves delicious food, there’s a stylish bar that opens into a courtyard with a waterfall, the fitness centre is sufficient, and everything’s just a short walk away.
