Fresh snowfall in Himachal Pradesh causes Dalhousie and other parts to freeze

Tourists are having a field day in Himachal Pradesh, especially Dalhousie, after fresh snowfall in Himachal Pradesh. The snowfall occurred in the higher regions of the state, and Dalhousie weather has reached sub-zero temperature on Thursday. According to the Meteorological (Met) Department, some parts also saw light rain.
People in Delhi NCR also experienced rain today, and the reason is now coming to light. Himachal Pradesh experienced fresh snowfall, with Chamba district reaching minus 0.1 degree Celsius. Chamba district also had received 5 cm snowfall that started at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, and ended on Thursday morning at 8:30 am.

Good news for travellers who went out seeking adventure at Lahaul district, and as well as Spiti’s administrative centre Keylong, as they witnessed 15 cm of snowfall. Also, Kalpa in the Kinnaur region also experienced 6 cm of snowfall.

Reports suggest that Keylong is currently the coldest destination in Himachal Pradesh, as the area recorded minus 8 degree Celsius temperature. At Kalpa, the minimum temperature recorded was minus 2 degrees Celsius.

Manali and Kufri both recorded a minimum temperature of 1 degree Celsius, and the very happening hill town of Shimla recorded 5.5 degree Celsius temperature.

Well, it seems like the weather this year is continuing to surprise us every now and then. As of today, it is raining in Delhi NCR, and folks cannot get enough of the beautiful breezy weather in the city.
