If reports are to go by, these special trips will be of six days and five nights each, starting from Sealdah Station on October 21, the day of Saptami. Each of these special trips will accommodate 30 seats, with the Darjeeling Trip for INR 21,000 per person, and the Dooars trip for INR 18,850 per person.
One of the main aims of these trips is to explore and get to know the offbeat places that we would normally skip.
As per reports, the package cost will cover expenses including train tickets, fooding, lodging, local transportation and sightseeing. For tourists taking these packages, stays in deluxe hotels, and cars for sightseeing and transportation will be provided. For those opting for the Dooars package, there will be special Bengali Thali as well added to their package.
Darjeeling, with its sprawling and scenic tea estates and old colonial heritage, never fails to amaze us. Add to that the incredible beauty of the place, with Mount Kanchendzonga looming over the town.
The Dooars region has its own charm, and an unforgettable one too. It is one of the most lush regions in the state, and is home to national parks like Gorumara National Park and Jaldapara National Park, second largest home to the greater one-horned rhinoceros in India.
