Axe throwing is another one of those new activities that has exploded into popularity in the past couple of years. Edmonton has embraced this fun and yet competitive sport and is now home to two different axe throwing studios. It is important to note that both locations are constantly booked up so making an advance reservation is of utmost importance. If you don’t know anything about axe throwing, no need to worry. Both locations offer a guided walk through the basics of throwing an axe, safety information, and how to make the most out of your experience. Bad Axe Throwing is the studio that you should head to for a party or a large event as the minimum booking size is 8 people and is available on appointments only. The Axe Hole on the other hand has opening hours throughout the week and does not have any kind of limit in terms of how many people you have to book. With leagues and tournaments offered throughout the year, this awesome new sport doesn’t just have to be a one-night evening out.
