A no-frills place and a runaway hit with a number of backpackers and hippies who have made Hampi their home, this restaurant serves quick, delicious yet cheap eats. It sits prim right opposite the main bus stand in Hampi and is quite loved for its thalis that have both South and North Indian delicacies. Its essentially vegetarian menu has some must-haves such as impressively fluffy appams, a range of dosas, idli-sambar and an assortment of vadas. North Indian thalis have essentials such as aloo parathas, shahi paneer, dal makhni and more. Walk in for a quick, appetising meal that won’t cost a dent in your wallet.
