The Warung

Ensconced within the Alila Villas in Uluwatu, Warung is a favourite with the refined gastronome keen to sample traditional Indonesian cuisine that can’t be found on the street. Dining is communal style set around a large wooden table (as is the tradition in Bali), although diners can choose to be seated at smaller separate tables for a more intimate experience. Consider opting for the green papaya and prawn salad for starters; and the pork ribs with jackfruit for the mains. The more adventurous can opt for the chef’s degustation menu.
