The restaurant is smart and classic in style and has a well-stocked bar. Outstanding Kashmiri and North Indian dishes are what you get here. There are several familiar North Indian kebabs and curries on the menu (Tangdi, Reshmi, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh, Raan, Hara Bhara, Gosht Saagwala, Chhole), which are all excellent. Dishes like Makhmali Lobster and Jumbo River Prawns are house specialities. Kashmiri Wazwan dishes like Tabak Maaz and Nadur Monji are also there. For main course, the Marchwangan Korma is hot and irresistible! The Murgh Dum Wazwan-style is cooked in a more familiar brown onion stock with garam masala. The Rogan Josh is quite mild and tempered down. The Kashmiri speciality Goshtaba, meatballs in yoghurt-based gravy, is delicious. Do not forget to order the Ninya Pulao, rice cooked in mutton stock with mutton pieces and gentle garam masala.
