Swept Away is located in the wonderful Samaya Resort Spa located on the majestic River Ayung in Ubud. This fabulous candlelight restaurant is right next to the gushing stream which makes the setting at Swept Away one of the most scenic, peaceful, and romantic in all of Bali.If you’re celebrating a special occasion, or perhaps even a proposal, book the 100 candle dinner experience where the staff will ensure to make it the most romantic setting, with a private table and server right by the river, rose petals and candles, and anything else that you might want to include, in order to make it a truly memorable occasion.
The food at Swept Away is modern, eclectic and adventurous. Daytime dining offers a more relaxing experience, but it is only at night when the real charm of this place comes alive. You can choose from two menus – an a la carte menu offering creative Indonesian, seafood, and fusion dishes, or a 4 / 6 courses degustation menu. It’s best to arrive just before the sunset to catch the stunning views of dusk over the rice fields, and then enjoy the romantic candle-light dinner by the river.
