Greenwood Heights' first beer garden, aptly named Greenwood Park, is a massive eco-friendly beer haven that takes alfresco drinking to a new level. The 13,000-square-foot space has a recycled industrial decor, plenty of seating, two bars and a three-lane bocce ball court. There are 60 tap lines serving out 24 craft beers that include local, imported and domestic brews. Fare includes chicken wings, grass-fed beef burgers and bratwurst served with sauerkraut. Greenwood Park co-owner Ted Mann—son of rocker Ted Nugent—also owns No Name Bar, an unassuming but a popular Greenpoint watering hole that serves up late-night Japanese ramen soup. Unlike its sister bar, Greenwood Park is cash-only (there are ATMs on the premises) and just happens to be steps away from the Green-Wood Cemetery.
