For an authentic and traditional Balinese dining experience, head to Warung Wardani in the capital Denpasar. Warung Wardani has been open for over 20 years and is a firm favourite with locals as well as tourists for its excellent nasi campur. This dish, which basically means ‘mixed rice,’ is a Balinese local favourite and the national dish of Indonesia, and you should definitely try it. Part of the fun in trying this local dish is that you never know exactly what you’re going to get! Usually, Nasi Campur consists of small portions of a variety of vegetables, fish or meat with a mound of steamed rice and sambal and whilst the food remains authentic, the restaurant has been updated and now features air-conditioning for a nice, relaxed dining experience.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
