If you are craving a salad or smoothie after all that pasta and pizza you have consumed on your visit to Rome, make sure to head here, to Zia Rosetta where the ingredients are always fresh. It is located in the Monti district, and not only offers salads and smoothies, but also a delightful choice of sandwiches. The owner is perhaps what makes this place so incredible, friendly, and dedicated to using the best and most local ingredients. One unique thing they do here is to offer a smaller sandwich size, allowing for you to sample a few different ones. The local favourite is the lardo (pig lard) with fried potato, but customers can get anything from smoked salmon, porchetta, or ham, or pretty much anything else you could imagine. There is cold beer, a few tables and stools inside, and the smell of fresh bread. Salads, sandwiches, smoothies, cold beer and a great owner and staff, what more could you ask for in the city of Rome?Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
