Located inside the City Palace complex, this restaurant takes its name from the Hindi word ‘palki’ meaning palanquins, which were used during the Maharajas time. Outside of the five star hotels, this is one of the best places to eat at. With a menu comprising of mostly western café food, it’s a great place to take a beat after you’re done sightseeing and before you return to your hotel. Order a beer or wine to go with your food and pick a table outside for views of the nightly sound-and-light show at Manek Chowk.
