An Indian restaurant with acumen for great Indian food, New Anarkali is recommended. The dishes found here is mostly North Indian, and there is a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights. There are two outlets of the restaurant, one in Thorvald Meyer Street, while the other is in Markveien. Start with a vegetarian appetizer such as, such as vegetable samosa, or onion bhaji, and quickly move on to the delicious makhani dal, or saag paneer! Here you can also get vegetable biryani, and the vegetarian variants of tandoori, such as paneer tikka. There is also a great variety of naan breads, even of the stuffed variety, such as potato naan. Finish a great meal with the best of Indian dessert, such as the succulent gulab jamun, or the delightful mango ice.
