A trip to America wouldn’t be complete without indulging in some classic fried chicken. Although typically seen more as a staple in the southern parts of the country, the crunchy goodness of chicken from Honey Butter Fried Chicken gives the southern states a run for their money. Honey Butter Fried Chicken is counter service so patrons must order at the counter and find a seat. Although there is often a line, the staff is friendly and efficient, so you’re never in a queue for too long. There are classic packs of fried chicken in 2 ($8.50), 4 ($16.00), or 8 ($30) pieces. Sides are available from $3.75, including the classic mac and cheese, creamed corn, and smashed potatoes. We recommend the roasted garlic grits. If pieces of fried chicken aren’t your thing, there are plenty of sandwich and salad options too. We recommend the original fried chicken sandwich for $8.50, with fried chicken strips, candied jalapeno, mayo, and crunchy slaw.
