One of the fancier eateries, this is the perfect family-friendly place if you want a little more of a quiet and intimate setting. We don’t recommend bringing your toddlers here, but this unique family-run restaurant certainly caters to families with children who are a bit older. The focus here is on the food and the experience, catering to an older crowd as well as families. Expect a children’s menu that offers such favorites as grilled cheese, chicken fingers and fries, spaghetti and more. Parents can expect to dine on such favorites as prime rib, veal parmesan, lobster, pasts and more. With a huge menu, its not hard to find something that everyone will enjoy. The staff here is both friendly and courteous, going out of their way to make sure the kids enjoy. As a special treat, make sure to snag one of the ice-cream floats or milkshakes for the kids, they are ¬worth it. Maxime’s may not be the first restaurant you think of when you think family friendly but time after time this restaurant and lounge proves itself to be a staple for the city and if you are celebrating something, this is the perfect place to be.
