Gurmit Singh has been running his tea stall very successfully for the last 58 years, and shows no signs of slowing down. When it comes to bubbling hot creamy chai, this man has the perfect formula. Monopolising on the majority of tea-drinkers in the city, he has consistently been whipping up his famous tea from his stall on Queen’s Road. His day starts at 5 in the morning when he sets up shop, and stays open till ten every night. A glass—yes, not a cup—will cost you no more than a couple of bucks, but you’ll probably remember it long after you’ve left.
