This little green food truck came out of the idea of actually owning a restaurant. Owners Nevin and Kara had dreamed of starting their own restaurant but couldn’t find the right space to do so. Feeling discouraged, they took a trip to Portland, Oregon where the food truck scene was quite evident, which made them decide right then and there to get a food truck to realise their dream. Drift has been in operation for a few years now and continues to be one of the most popular food trucks in the city. Many things set them apart from the other food trucks in the city including their dedication to use environmentally friendly takeaway packaging, which will give you the freedom to throw all your garbage right in the compost. The star of the show at Drift is their sandwiches, and using locally sourced meats and veggies they not only taste delicious but also support the local community. Make sure to try the Hoisin Glazed Pork Belly Sandwich served with hand-cut fries and house-made ketchup.
