If Willy Wonka was able to dedicate his entire career to the production of ice cream, it's quite possible that Fenocchio would be the fruit of his labours. This Niçois institution serves up almost 100 varieties of ice cream and sorbet, with a list of flavours that reads like a sugar-fuelled child's Christmas list.
Expect to tuck into a tub of Ferrero Rocher or rice pudding ice cream before moving in for a cheeky lick of your travelling companion's tomato and basil sorbet cone. If the busy Place Rosetti outlet is swamped, try the other Vieux Nice outpost at 6 Rue de la Poissonnerie.
