The old adage of ‘The best of things come in small packages’ applies undeniably to Jheel’s Ginger Café and Restaurant. Located in the narrow lanes of Chandpole, the café offers two options of seating arrangement. One can enjoy the indoor seating that offers the lake view from the upper level and is also air-conditioned. If you prefer getting close to nature, then you can choose the lower balcony/open-air seating to get an up-close view of the lake. Apart from the ambience, the restaurant cum café offers an innovative range of shakes, mocktails, sundaes, and pastries. Away from the hustle bustle of the city, this quaint café may be small but is quite comfortable and one can enjoy a good book as the mercury dips. The café also proudly displays a range of books on their shelf – Go on, pick one and enjoy the experience. Jheel’s Ginger Café’s sandwiches and pizzas are a must try and if you don’t have a large appetite then this is the ideal place for you. This café is perfect for breakfast and you can enjoy your first meal of the day as the sun rises along with you. This vegetarian only café offers a splendid view of the old Udaipur, Amet haveli and Jag Mandir. Both food and beverages are aptly priced and is overall good value for money.
