Contrary to its name, this food joint is tucked in the middle of a banana plantation. Though it has a vegetarian-only menu, you would find a lot of sumptuous fare to choose from—banana fritters, vegetable curry, parathas (a huge variety of those, all deep-fried), french toasts, pancakes, pita-falafel-hummus platters and more. While it is a multi-cuisine restaurant, its specialty (and authenticity) lies in Indian fare, making it advisable to stick to the Indian items on the menu. Its initial setting was right by the river and this had become synonymous with the experience of dining at Mango Tree, contributing to its fame as much as its flavourful dishes. Even with its current setting (right in the market), this restaurant is surely not going to disappoint you.
