Although it’s a little over a century-old, Café Prückel was redone in the 1950s and carries a whiff of the mid-century’s style with cosy booths. There are several kinds of coffee and delicious homemade pastries on offer and live piano music thrice a week. First-time visitors should try out classics like boiled beef and chips, apple strudel and a strong cup of coffee. The cafe is also close to the Museum of Applied Art and the StadtPark.
