Deco

Deco has been a long-time favourite among visitors and expats in Phnom Penh. Situated in a leafy suburb of the inner city, the restaurant provides classic cocktails and an array of delicious meals to suit all tastes. The restaurant itself is simple and elegant with an Art Deco twist. White table cloths drape over the tables and candles flicker, giving an intimate setting. There is dining and a small cocktail lounge inside. Dining is also available outside on the terrace. They have recently launched a great Happy Hour option, providing 2-for-1 drinks from 5 pm. It’s a great way to begin your night, sitting under the trees on the Deco terrace.
The food at Deco changes depending on what is in the season. The menu is printed simply on a piece of brown paper, offering a selection of 5 or 6 starters including beef carpaccio, crab cakes and tomato and mozzarella cheese tart. There are a similar amount of mains and a good selection between vegetarian, fish and meats meals. The larger meals like their famous ribs (do it!) and pork chops come with a side option of daily greens, mash potato and house chips. The house chips come highly recommended—either as a side to your meal or a nice little snack with your cocktail on the terrace.
