Scrambled egg, more colloquially known as bhurji, is again one of the popular street food options of Udaipur. The one that you get near Chetak Cinema is not the normal egg bhurji—it is actually boiled egg bhurji. Onion and spices are added to the scrambled boiled egg to make this finger smacking street food. This unique delicious scrambled egg was first made by Jai Kumar that became quite popular in Udaipur. At present, there are many vendors who try to replicate Jai’s scrambled boiled egg recipe but have failed to reproduce the exact taste. At Jai’s tiny stall, you can either just have the scrambled egg or have it along with slices of bread and butter as per your preference.
