A London bar plans to dress up its bartenders as beekeepers to promote safety

After being hit by the pandemic and remaining under lockdown for longer than expected, restrictions are gradually easing across the globe, including the United Kingdom. The UK is now preparing to reopen its bars, pubs and restaurants, some of them coming up with new ways to ensure safety.

Recently, a famous bar in London came up with an innovative way to maintain social distancing and protect customers and staff from the virus.
Mr. Foggs House of Botanical, a green bar in London, has decided to dress up its bartenders as beekeepers. The beekeeper suit is supposed to work as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keep the staff safe and sound.

Wearing these suits, the bartenders will serve botanical-inspired cocktails to the customers.
The co-founders of the bar wore the suits and showed the world how it works. They said that the beekeeper suit was decided as they were not sure that traditional PPE could connect to customers. So, to create a fun atmosphere, the founders thought of this interesting suit that will keep the customers entertained and safe at the same time.

Charlie Gilkes, one of the co-founders, "Now more than ever before, people will need spaces that spark a sense of escapism and imagination, and we are determined to adapt what we were doing successfully before to the new ways of operating.”

Apparently, restaurants, bars and pubs in London were instructed to shut on March 20 because of the Coronavirus outbreak and as per reports, these will reopen from July 4.

As of now, the UK is on the fifth position in worst-infected countries.More than 300K have been reported COVID-19 positive, and 42,288 have lost their lives.
