The Minister of Tourism, K.J. Alphons, recently told the press that the government authorities have come up with a new campaign called Chalo Kumbh Chalo throughout India, whilst also putting up advertisements in all the primary international airports in India. Read less
The Minister of Tourism, K.J. Alphons, recently told the press that the government authorities have come up with a new campaign called Chalo Kumbh Chalo throughout India, whilst also putting up advertisements in all the primary international airports in India. In addition, reportedly, the government will host Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019 in Varanasi to draw in Pravasi Bharatiya delegates at the Kumbh Mela, which is scheduled to start in January 2019 in Allahabad.
Some of these developments in store are widening and building the roads, constructing parking spaces close to the mela grounds, providing shuttle buses to the pilgrims, constructing toilets, installing LED lights on mela grounds, stationing telecommunication services as well as ATMs around the mela grounds, installing CCTV cameras and digital signages at systematic points to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
