Referring to this development, Shimla DC Amit Kashyap said that the festival will be inaugurated by Governor Acharya Devvrat and artists from Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Telangana, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh have been invited to perform in this event. Also, folk artists from Haryana and Rajasthan will be gracing this event with their performances.
The official also mentioned that the festival will be a perfect blend of classical, folk and pahadi culture, during which local artists and school children will be offered ample opportunity to showcase their talent.
The district administration will also be organising a food festival during this event, which has been typically aimed at popularising Himachali cuisine. And for this purpose, a Himachali Rasoi has also been set up. If you are planning to be a part of this festival, don’t miss to check out the food in this stall.
The said guided Heritage Walk would start from Scandal Point and end at IIAS. Such tours will be held twice a day.
