There are now a good 50 vineyards in and around Nasik, and most offer guest houses and tasting rooms. The experience is holistic: you can walk through the vineyards, pluck grapes, get a tour of the distillation and wine-making process, the bottling and even sample different varietals while an expert schools you in the nuances of each bottle. Getting tipsy together doesn’t get more acceptable than this.
