Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a lush green area in Mumbai that is one of the most sought-after attractions in the city. People visit this park often and explore it on either foot or rented cycles. Although rich in flora and fauna, and is thronged by nature lovers every day, it also has a haunted tale that is often whispered around in hushed tones.

It’s a great place for birdwatchers too, where people visit to spend some time amid nature. The park is also home to a number of trails, and has a fascinating ecosystem to boast of. However, as far as the common tales go, it’s haunted, especially at night, and locals claim to have witnessed paranormal activities and ghost sightings, further saying that a woman appears from nowhere at night and asks for a lift here!

So, if you like chasing ghost stories, visit this park which is more than just home to diverse species of wildlife. If you visit this park during nightfall, you might catch the guards saying a silent prayer and crossing over to the less dense areas of the park. If you ask them to share tales of their experience, they would tell you of their encounters with a lady ghost, who often tries to stop people driving around. They add that in case they do not stop, the lady ghost goes on to scare them chasing them.
People, who live in huts in the park, add that they do not dare to venture outside in the dark, fearing this lady ghost more than any leopard or wild animal that could just be lurking around. Some even claim that they have heard strange voices, while some have had an eerie feeling of being constantly looked at or followed.
