An arena in the city, it is mostly used for basketball. It is also home to Fraport Skyliners. It was inaugurated in 1986, and can hold up to 5000 people. It was originally named as Ballsporthalle. However, later it was renamed after Frankfurt International Airport.The largest sports stadium, it has ample seating not just for sporting events but also for non-sporting ones. This is a place of interest for conference organizers and culture enthusiasts. It is situated next to the Centennial Hall. Even from afar, you will be impressed by its architecture which represents the cross-section of a football, on its west and east side.
The entrance of the sports hall is located on the long side of the building. Here, the stands are above the grounds, hence providing a clear view of the interior.
